(LOS ANGELES \u2013 Aug. 20, 2019) <\/b>\u2014 The House of Blues Music Forward Foundation today announced its first-ever Ambassadors Council featuring a virtual who\u2019s who of GRAMMY\u00ae<\/sup>, American Music, Academy of Country Music and Billboard Music Award-winning artists including\u00a0Benny Blanco<\/b>,\u00a0Sofia Carson<\/b>,\u00a0Lauren Daigle<\/b>,\u00a0Chris Janson<\/b>,\u00a0Khalid<\/b>,\u00a0Martina McBride<\/b>,\u00a0Julia Michaels<\/b>,\u00a0Carlos Santana\u00a0<\/b>and\u00a0Umphrey\u2019s McGee<\/b>.<\/p>\n Each Music Forward Ambassador will contribute in a variety of ways including mentoring aspiring artists, speaking at educational youth workshops, donating funds from ticket sales and providing exclusive music memorabilia for auction. The council, boasting artists that have sold over 100 million albums, will be using their various platforms to call attention to the foundation\u2019s vital work.<\/p>\n As part of the House of Blues and Live Nation Entertainment family, the Music Forward Foundation\u00a0is focused on providing young people from diverse communities interested in music industry careers with artist development, educational and mentoring programs.<\/p>\n \u201cI am honored to join together\u00a0with\u00a0the House of Blues\u00a0Music Forward Foundation\u00a0to inspire young people to channel their passion for music into a career and to use their\u00a0voice\u00a0to make a\u00a0positive\u00a0difference in the world,\u201d said Rock and Roll Hall of Famer\u00a0Carlos Santana<\/b>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s important to have foundations that involve music,\u201d said multi-platinum artist\u00a0Khalid<\/b>. \u201cThere are so many kids who don\u2019t have the resources or information to get started in the music business. There is this huge world of creative opportunities that you can pursue a career in, and there are so many amazing jobs in the music world that I imagine young people would be excited to pursue if they knew about them.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI am thrilled to join Music Forward\u2019s Ambassadors Council, which represents such a wide variety of musical genres,\u201d said country music superstar\u00a0Martina McBride<\/b>. \u201cBreaking into the music business is challenging, and Music Forward\u2019s free programs offer aspiring youth the tools and mentorship opportunities needed to help fulfill their career goals. It has impacted over 1 million young lives and invested $25 million in transformational music programs during the last 25 years.
